TOIstudio started with a humble idea and has evolved into an experiment in morbid curiousity. Like some eternal game of 'chicken' TOIstudio practicioners are careful not to blink as the city rushes towards the brink of what is promising to be a collapse of fabled scale. Like dreamers sinking off the coast the TOIcollaborators hide behind a shield of altruistic ideals and strike out with cynicism and burdensome truths at the preconception and complacency that rules their fair burg.

Contained within are collections of unrealized ideas, hopes and late night conversations recorded like pictures from high school, to embarass the artist later in life when comfort and 'normalcy' have snuck in and taken refuge.

It isn't that our expectations are really that high. It seems the only problem is within the restrictions that others set upon themselves.
